I got to take a look at the post-edited document today. It's beautiful and intimidating; our editor did the work with the ruthlessness and grace of a professional hitman. I've never felt so much like I don't talk english.... good.
Layout's next, then we're formatting for PDF (and POD if its not beyond our skill level; I have faith that those wonderful people at Drive-Thru RPG have sufficiently idiot-proofed the process that I can pull it off)
My only regret is that I didn't have the two Lores for Tripitaka and Wukong done before we sent the document for editing. I wanted to include enough to create more PCs if needed, but I suppose I'll have to address that in part two (which makes sense, since that's where we introduce new characters anyway).
Generally I would include them anyway, but after speaking with the editor from Legends (who is a terrific person, if you're curious, and very helpful) he pointed out that this was bad form, and reflects poorly on the editor whose name is thereafter attached to unedited work.
I'll see about getting unedited drafts for ya'll around when we release, so you guys have access to them at least. It's not the most professional way of doing it, but I can't bring myself to burn a bridge down with an editor as good as this. If I'm the only one that comes out of this looking like a clown... Eh? I think you guys probably gathered that already XD
